Grand Commander of the Military Guilds, Representative of the Mercenaries Guild in the Landsraad
"My word is my bond, and my bond is my worth. So believe me when I say that I'm going carve myself a pound of your flesh if I find out you broke your word."
-Grand Commander Lezre Bandit-Butcher whilst dealing with deserters.
Description
A middle-aged female Orc with a dark grey skin and short white hair, which is usually kept beneath a large undecorated helmet. She typically wears a chainmail set over a thick leather gambeson in day to day life, and an impossibly heavy set of plate armour when danger is afoot.
Regardless of the occasion, she keeps her halberd within arms reach. Both it and various pieces of her armour and equipment have the Sigel of the Mercenaries Guild engraved.
Standing at six and a half feet (198 cm), with larger-than average tusks and the broad and muscled form typical of Orcs, Lezre is an imposing figure in almost any situation.
Personality
Generally seen as a gruff and serious person, Lezre fulfils the typical expectations people have of both Orcs and Mercenaries in any official setting. Though it is not merely a role she plays, Lezre tends to exaggerate those parts of her personality in order to seem intimidating. She does occasionally overdo it, which results in her acting like someone 20 years her elder admonishing a grown adult like he is a small child.
In more personal settings she shows open care for those close to her and especially to the mercenaries of her own company, who she has fought and bled beside for the 30 years. She likes to throw large feasts for the entire Guild and its veterans, during which she cuts loose alongside her brothers in arms. It is said it is the only time of year that she indulges in alcohol, and that she allows her men to do so in public.
Motivation
Having grown up in a small village some ways from Stormhaven, Lezre personally experienced the deterioration of Kildar's more remote areas. Whilst
Routine
Lezre spends her time between Stormhaven, for her job as representative of the Mercenaries Guild to the Landsraad and as Grand-Commander of the Military Guilds, and the headquarters of the Mercenaries Guild in Arland.
When in Stormhaven she tends to only spend time in the Council Chambers and her home in the local Mercenaries Guild fort. She dislikes the busy and closed off feeling of the city and often grumbles about how she would rather be on the move fulfilling a contract. Despite how much she complains about the city and her colleagues in the Landsraad, she quietly enjoys politics, not in small part because she is quite skilled at it.
Whenever she is not needed in Stormhaven for the Landsraad however, she is rarely seen there. Whilst her position in the Mercenaries Guild demands that she lives in their main fort in Arland, she truly considers it her home and enjoys pending her time there sparring with members of her guild and sharing food and tales with them.
