Getting Started

Welcome to the character creation guide for campaign 3 of Spelslot! We use dndbeyond.com to create- and keep track of our player characters. To create your character in our DnD Beyond Campaign, contact Tim at [email protected] to get an access link to our DnD Beyond Campaign and all the shared content. If you own the content yourself, please let us know and we’ll place you in a non-shared Campaign, thus leaving more spaces for people that need our shared Campaigns.

To make sure you’ve created your character correctly, go through the following checklist, each to-do has its own explainer tab at the top:

• Get access to the our DnD Beyond campaign by contacting Tim at [email protected]

• Set the correct content settings in the ‘home tab’ in your D&D Beyond‘ character builder

• Pick a class and abilities suitable for your experience level

• Pick a species, and check if they require some additional lore writing

• Write a backstory that works

What settings to use in DnD Beyond

This is important! To use all the right sourcebooks in your character creation on DnD Beyond, make sure you select and unselect the correct settings at the start of your character creation process. Your hometab checklist should look like this:
