The Verdant Veil

The Verdant Veil is a sprawling, ancient forest in the south of Kildar, stretching west of Stormhaven and north up to the rugged slopes of the Mountains of the Unknown. Known for its dense, mist-filled canopies and towering, moss-covered trees, the forest holds a mystique that has deterred explorers and earned it a reputation as a land of hidden magic. Within its depths are winding trails, hidden groves, and rumored sites of ancient ruins, drawing both wary travelers and those seeking secrets long buried by time.

Greenway Traverse

Recently, a new trade route called the Greenway Traverse was painstakingly carved through the heart of the Verdant Veil. The project took years to complete, as the dense foliage and strange vegetation seemed almost to resist the road’s creation. The Greenway Traverse now connects Stormhaven to the western city to the west and south of the Mountains of the Unknown. Winding through the forest in a narrow, winding path, this new rout allows caravans to transport goods with much faster to Kildar's south.

The Bendy Boy River

The Bendy Boy River is a unique waterway that meanders primarily underground through the Verdant Veil, originating from the enigmatic Mountains of Unknown. While its course is largely concealed beneath the surface, the river occasionally emerges above ground, carving impressively wide riverbeds that hint at its hidden power and scale. These surface stretches are rare but striking, offering glimpses of the river's presence before it retreats once more into the subterranean depths. Its peculiar name, "The Bendy Boy River" was bestowed by curious adventurers who stumbled upon its winding path. The whimsical title somehow stuck over time, becoming the river's enduring moniker in maps and tales alike.
