Description
Being home to many deep mines and sweltering forges, Ironhold soon became a premiere place for craftsmen to ply their trades. Being dwarf or any other race, smiths from all over Kildar came to call Ironhold their home. This eventually made Ironhold a rich trading hub in the west, but the riches did not only attract merchants. When demons invaded the mines below Ironhold, its people banded together behind the banner of Ironhold.
Though not able to stem the tide, Sevetar and his followers were at least able to forge an equilibrium where neither side was making any gains of notable significance. It was not until The Eldrich Inquisition joined the fray at the side of Ironhold that the tides turned. With the promise of significant support and a steady supply of arms and armours to the Inquisition in the future, the Ironhold and Inquisition forces managed to close the hell portal in the deepest depths of the mines.
These days, most of the mines are back under the control of Ironhold, the debt of gratitude to The Eldrich Inquisition is still being repaid in steel and blood. Due to his heroism Sevetar and his followers were granted a full fledged chapter in the Inquisition. The Ironhold chapter is able to create and develop armaments at a much higher rate and volume. Even though most of these creations end up bolstering the forces of the Inquisition and Ironhold itself, those items that reach the hands of those outside Ironhold and the Inquisition become priced possessions due to their durabillity and quality.
Members of the Ironhold chapter now serve the Inquisition and the rest of Kildar as smiths and demonhunters.
