Karma Score
Your Karma Score is the primary factor that determines if and where you are placed in a session.
Starting Karma: All new users begin with a Karma Score of 1000 points.
Story Players: Dedicated Story Players are flagged in the system and are given priority when signing up for sessions specifically tagged as "Story". Story Players that sign up for non-story sessions are treated as normal players. (This feature is new and untested yet)
How to Gain Karma Points
You gain Karma points based on your sign-up outcome and level of participation. While the specific numbers are subject to review and may change over time, the current system awards points as follows:
Action | Karma Points Gained (Placeholder) |
Join your 1st Choice Session | +100 Karma Point |
Join your 2nd Choice Session | +120 Karma Points |
Join your 3rd Choice Session | +140 Karma Points |
Placed on Waiting List (Did not attend) | +180 Karma Points |
Placed on Waiting List (Attended other activities) | +200 Karma Points |
DMing a Session | +500 Karma Points |
Note: The Spelslot administration tracks how the system functions and may adjust these point values to ensure the best possible distribution.
Extra Karma Opportunities
Admins can award additional Karma points for community support, such as:
Helping out during Spelslot events.
Assisting with other Spelslot-related activities.
