The Exodus
The Vice Laws
Having been deprived of any kind of joy for generations in the Shadowfell under Umbraxis’ rule, the Shadowfell immigrants are slowly introducing new Vices into their lives. Once per year, a council of Elders decides what new Vice will be allowed. During the yearly Revel, the Shadowfellians get to experience it for the first time.
A lot of preparation goes into it. Relevant artists and crafters get to experience and experiment with the new Vice to put on a big show.
In the 6 years since the planes crossed, the following Vices have been legalized: [To Do]
Notably, the following Vices have not yet been legalized:
- Wearing any color other than black
- Alcohol
- Happy/hopeful art
Structure & people
Leader
After being resurrected countless times by the Dark Powers to lead the rebellions against Umbraxis, The Black Blade was automatically appointed the leader by all the Shadowfell refugees. However reluctant he is to be his people's face, he feels compelled to take on this role.
Quest Giver
Lemma, a card throwing assassin who has returned to Auryn and saw the Shadowfellians try to rebuild this old city and their new dreams.
Opponent
Fed up with the Black Blade's vision of peacefully integrating in Kildarian society, Agatha Grimgall wishes to establish a centralized location for the Shadowfellians; by force if she has to. Though banned and disgraced for her aggression which reminded the Shadowfellians of Umbraxis, her support is increasing as more and more refugees keep being taken advantage of by the different Kildarian cities.

Damning yesterday and facing tomorrow with your head held high." - The Fisher King's pacifists are determined to hold on to the peace they have been allowed to experience.
"It is easy to forget how much you have, when your eyes are always fixed on what you don't." - While the Shadowfellians limit their possessions due to the Vice Laws, most belief that joy can come from simple things as much as extravagance.
