The Black Blades

A clan hellbent on preventing oppression like Umbraxis’ from ever happening again. They have Trials which test people’s skill but also moral compass. They have spies, assassins, mages. They work with the Old Codex Eldritch Inquisition to safeguard the magical items but want to use them against tyrants.
They are situated in/near Stormhaven

  • Black Blade (leider/gezicht van Shadowfell die niets van formeel politiek weet. De eeuwige Rebel tegen Umbraxis, nu bevrijd en een nieuwe rol voor zijn mede Shadowfellians)

  • Razian Ingimalm (mid-high level Half-Elf Spirits Bard; works for the Black Blades), Razian is a medium and tarot card reader. He also does some jonbs for libraries and the Knowledge Guilds becuase of his gifts that make him a fine occult detective.

  • Eliza with the Onyx Eye: Shadar-Kai lady with dark red hair, wearing black and red gem pendants. She’s a jeweler/gem expert who owns the Onyx Eye (She is also a poetess)

  • Ellagor, Gnome Librarian/ Book store owner (female with light colored bob, dark fairy tales,)

Tyrant’s Bane

They believe dragons are evil (given Umbraxis and Grandmother) and try to make them extinct in Kildar and the entire material plane.

What better place for dragon slayers than where heroes have defeated a dragon of darkness many years ago? Wyrmspire
Tyrant's Bane info for Tyrant’s Bane.

NPC’s:

  • Dragon Heads (5-7 leaders of the Tyrant’s Bane; 13-15 mercenaries; do work with Eldritch Inquisition if they have a common quest)

Fisher King’s Sanctuary

A veterans’ home near the seaside where the Giants of War reside. (Brell?) Goliaths who fought in the front lines of the rebellion. Have sworn themselves to pacifism and soul searching to deal with their PTSD. They learn how to cook, fish, craft (building bird houses, crocheting, painting etc).

Would suggest Rhyl - best place in my opinion for redemption and soul recovering. City is ready.

NPC’s

  • Cathríona Oldhills, female mid-20s appearance, sweet, caring, modest, (loves compliments) Half-Elf Life Cleric with Hexblood (seen by stitch scars around eyes and mouth; ancestors were hags)

  • Katla, Human (she/her, they/them) potionmaakster/alchemist.
Uses their expertise to heal the physical and mental issues of the Goliaths.

Mourning Grounds

A graveyard where some try to build a memorial for those who died under Umbraxis’ reign. Some stones have ravens and/or symbols of the god(dess) of Death engraved upon them.

NPC’s:

  • Guardian of Morning Grounds: black suit and tie, 2 meters long, white eyes, intimidating, strong yet agile for his size.

  • Group of Aasimar, weeping for the dead??

  • Woodworker

  • Priest of Death (Grave Clerics?)

Vanta’s Variete (Circus)

Circus who have a hard time because they need to dress in black and can't break the Vice Laws. A hybrid of traditional circus with dark twist and sideshow/modern freak shows with fully tattooed performers and shocking acts.

Locatie: Auryn (C1) was an entertainment town but long forgotten. Maybe destoryed by Hadar/Hexagon/GM Cultists?

Possible Idea: What if the Refugees have heard of this town of entertainent through stories and rumors? Where they can be free, have fun and express themselves anyway they want.
But when they finally go to Auryn, they see nothing but ruins. The Refugees have taken upon themselves to build this town back to its former glory.

The Bound

Highly skilled servants, so grateful to Kildar for freeing them that they pledged their entire bloodlines in servitude to the realm and serve as the most loyal advisers to the most powerful people. How they choose which people to serve is a mystery.
