The Miners Guild maintains a strong, though carefully managed presence in Prowlpeak Haven. It is the guild that oversees the rotation of young dwarves into the settlement, treating service in Prowl as both practical training and a rite of passage. The guild controls the flow of resources mined in the Prowlpeaks, particularly the potentially rich veins of iron and coal that are sent down the mountain to the forges of Rhyl.

The guild functions mostly as a logistical and commercial backbone, ensuring that food, supplies, and tools arrive safely and that shipments of ore leave on schedule. Profit is the ultimate concern, but the guild knows that pushing too hard risks lives and, more importantly, the village’s fragile relationship with the mountains themselves.

The guild has also been accused of downplaying the dangers of Prowlpeak, emphasizing the necessity of the mines over the safety of the dwarves. They often disagree about this with the Intellectual Institutions, who have a presence in the greater Prowlpeaks area where they study the instability of the mountains.
