An elderly dwarf who once lead a respected Mercenary Company. He has in recent years turned his back on the Mercenaries Guild and is now considered a wanted bandit by the Guilds.
"I have fought an bled beside many of the older captains here. To you I say; your support or silence in this is a shameful display of cowardice that spits on the graves of our fallen brethren, and I, for one, will not be complicit."
~Fargrim Silveraxe announcing his mercenary company's withdrawal from the Mercenaries Guild upon the election of Lezre Bandit-Butcher.
Description
When Lezre Bandit-Butcher became the first Orc to become Grand-Captain of the Mercenaries Guild, and with it the first Orcish Grand-Commander of the Military Guilds, not everyone was pleased.
A veteran Dwarven mercenary captain by the name of Fargrim Silveraxe, who had butted heads with Lezre many times in the past, refused to follow her orders and pulled his company, called 'The Severed Tusk', out of the Guild.
Though he was a respected veteran member of the Guild for centuries, Lezre's interference made sure that his company never received a worthwhile contract again, often undercutting the Severed Tusk's prices so steeply that any contract offered to the company was often swiftly retracted, eventually forcing Fargrim to dissolve the company.
In order to pay his men and get revenge on Lezre and the rest of the Guild, which he felt had betrayed him by allowing her to persecute him, Fargrim took his mercenaries out of their homebase of Rhyl and moved them south. There he has attempted to interrupt the Guild's missions and erode support for the Mercenaries and the Landsraad among the rural population.
