Description

Being the youngest Reverend Mother of the order since its inception, Jessica Herbert had to overcome many predjudices from both inside and outside the Order of Saint Muriel. However her instatment at the age of 23 belied the competency she would show in the comming years. Now, at age 36, she is known as one of the most competent Reverend Mothers the order has ever known. Her sermons are heard by many daily and attract people from far and wide, even if they are not members of the order.

Known as a compassionate and charitable to those who need her help, she and her order are quick to help those who most desperately need it. She does not suffer injustice lightly and is willing to take up arms to those who she finds wanting to mete out divine justice personally. Some say she has her own agenda in attracting the downtrodden of society to her side, but those who dare say such a thing are often quickly drowned out by her supporters.

She is always shouldered by her faithful dog Gurney and her steward Partrick. Bad tongues gossip that she has an intimate relationship with the latter. Even if those rumours were true, many choose to ignore them in favour of adoration and praise for a woman who has captured the hearts and minds of those who are part of the order and whom she has helped.

Traits and Motivations

Reverend Mother Jessica Herbert is know as kind and compassionate to those around her. However, those who invoke her ire (or are, in her eyes, unworthy of any kindness) get to know a much harsher woman. A woman who is inclined to deal with wrongdoers herself, in a very thorough fashion.

Routine

On most days, the Reverend Mother can be found at the cathredal of St. Muriel, where she deals with day to day activities concerning the order and gives a sermon in the morning, noon and evening. If a situation requires her precense, she will often be seen leaving the safe confines of the cathedral to tend to the downtrodden, or lead the charge against werebeasts or any other that she has deemed a worthy target of her holy fury.
