Professor Gr'eg Prattleton is a goblin professor of Kildarian History and Feywild studies from Jared University. He is the main quest giver of the Intellectual Institutions.

Professor Prattleton regularly goes on expeditions to ancient sites, temples and dungeons and then gets stuck there. He will often need rescuing.

Professor Prattleton used to be a pirate in Anfyn, but wasn't very good at it. After being rescued by adventurers multiple times, he went to get educated in at Jared University in Stormhaven, where he got his degree in Kildarian History and Feywild studies and dabbled in Alchemy. His friend Amadeus the Singing Ogre (quest giver for the Crusaders of Lady Elaine) sponsored his education and gave him Elly, a white cockatoo as a graduation gift.

Elly (short for Lady Elaine) the White Cockatoo, is always at Professor Prattletons side, providing company and an additional set of eyes and ears to notice things during his expeditions. She loves nuts and is easily bribed into loving you if you give her some. Professor Prattleton often refers to her as 'his assistant'.
