"Lass der stier raus"
Description
A former colonel in the standing army of Stormhaven. Hector Schwartzschild caught the eye of the The Eldritch Inquisition after assisting in the succesful recovery of dragon bones from the less than willing Elfenwald family.
The singleminded ferocity with which he meticulously searches any location which he believes harbours (illegal) magical artifacts is a sight to behold. Such a display of hardhanded efficiency once led to Hector defenestrating a piano. Afterwards, a wide eyed member of his retenue described him as "A bull in a porcelain store". Overhearing this, it is said that Hector laughed and quickly adopted the nickname "Der Stier", which means "The Bull" in his mothertongue.
Seeing the potential in his methods, the Eldritch Inquistion quickly initiated him and eventually gave him his own order that focuses soley on identifying and retrieving magical artifacts. Many of his followers have adopted his less than delicate methods of retrieving said artifacts.
Traits and Motivations
A dour and serious man, Hector seems calm and collected as long as noone stands in the way of his objectives. It is said by close associates that it appears as if Hector is often looking for an excuse to "Lass der stier raus" (Let the bull out). After which he leaves no stone unturned and no threat unsaid to find what he is looking for. He often leaves a trail of destruction in his wake.
He seeks to restore is family's lost legacy. After his appointent to the head of the Order of the Black Shield he quickly lend his coat of arms to the order. He speaks little of the downfall of his once noble family, but rumours say, the Elfenwald family had a hand in it.
Routine
If Hector and his order are not patrolling the streets, tracing leads or defenestrating piano's, he can often be found at his Stormhaven estate, reading, training or gardening. It is said that his rosebushes are some of the finest in all of Kildar. He is also known to wear his own homemade rose cologne.
