Description
During The Great Cataclysm, the volcano known as Inferno Mountain on the island of Medwedov erupted and forced the sea-raiding human tribe that lived on the island to continent in search of a new home. Under the leadership of Sova Medvedov, The Conqueror, and later her son Leif Medvedov The First, this tribe used the chaos brought forth by The Great Cataclysm to unite all of Kildar.
These new human inhabitants of Kildar brought forth an age were the highest authority in Kildar was the Medvedov Dynasty. The new central royal government that originated from their rule effectively rebuild the ruined cities and roads after the Great Cataclysm and proceeded to lead Kildar through 4 centuries of relative peace.
The rulers of a newly united Kildar also created a common set of laws, called Common Dwarven Law, and set pursued a policy of religious autonomy and tolerance within Kildar.
The Medvedov Rule is considered to have come to an end after the Thronebreaker Coup. Though a Medvedov would sit on the Throne of Kildar in Torrica for another 111 years after the coup, the Guilds would effectively rule Kildar for the centuries that followed.
