The counterpart to the Feywild is the Shadowfell. It is a place of darkness, misery and depression. In the Shadowfell lies the Cimmerian Empire, a dark and gloomy reflection of the Kingdom of Kildar from years past in the Material Realm. This domain of dread has the same shape and landscape features as Kildar, but all in twisted and sharp ways.

Most of these cities feature a Shadow Town, a neighborhood visually very different from the rest of the city, as it is mostly inhabited by Shadowfellians, who follow their Vices Laws which creates a dark and unique street view.
