Toad & Turtle is an eccentric shop in Iron Field, known for selling all sorts of animals, including some that probably shouldn’t be for sale. The shop is owned by Bruna Stoutfoot, a shrewd halfling woman with a deep love for animals and a knack for business.

Her husband, Rurik Stoutfoot, a lazy dwarf who is more interested in napping than helping with the shop, spends most of his time lounging around.

The shop’s clerk, Fendrick, is a daft but well-meaning human, who often confuses orders and struggles with basic tasks, but is fiercely loyal to Bruna. Despite their quirks, the trio manages to run the shop, providing the citizens of Stonehaven with a wide array of creatures, from horses to the occasional owlbear.
