Other groups

The Elves, despite being peaceful and cultural, are also vengeful at times. The long lived species remember long forgotten ancient wars. As such, most Elves carry a specific hatred towards Orcs and Humans for wars long past, though most living members of those species have no memory of those days. In addition, the Elves have a professional rivalry with the Dwarves where they attempt to outcompete one another. The Elves have good relations with most other species, specifically maintaining solid trade relations with the Dragonborn and Goliath species of Kildar.

Factions

Cult of Lolth

Despite not being an official member of the Kildarian Pantheon, the worship of Lolth is still prominent in hidden temples and shrines dedicated to the cult of Lolth. The worship of Lolth is not outlawed in Kildar, but heavily frowned upon. Some more radical followers of Corellon may take it upon themselves to expunge Cults of Lolth wherever they find them. The most prominent followers of the Cult in Kildar are the Drow.

Dark Elves

Some Drow purposely call themselves the ancestral name of Dark Elf, so they are not associated with the Cult of Lolth. These Dark Elves find more acceptance within Elf societies and are granted better opportunities than their fellow Drow. This often sparks an intense rivalry between the two factions.
