Description

The Commerce faction consists of all guilds geared towards the market. Whether it's guilds who create wares that are sold (like farmers and miners), guilds who provide services (like the messengers and the navigators) or just guilds focused entirely around making more money (Like the merchants and bankers).

While they sometimes work together to promote a better market for all involved, the guilds and their members are just as often at odds with one another. There is only so much money to go around after all, and everyone thinks they deserve more of it.

Worldview

Everything for the commerce guilds begins and ends with money. Some of the smaller guilds might be mostly concerned with making sure their members can earn a decent living, but the members of merchant and banker guilds just want a bigger piece of the pie than they already have. While not every individual merchant and banker is only in it for the money, most of them certainly are.

The new arrival of the Fey and Shadowfellians and especially the new portal system has brought great change to Kildar, which was met with mixed replies by the commerce faction.

Some people loath the change and the money they lost with the change, while others have made good use of all these new opportunities.
