Zem Ascetics
(Monk)

The Absolutists among the Arisen believe that they have already reached the pinnacle of existence — freed from the constraints of mortality, they see no reason to chase the unknown. Instead, they turn inward, seeking perfection within themselves. From this philosophy, the Ascetics were born.

Unlike their Progressor kin, who obsess over unraveling the mysteries of Sparks and the Astral, the Ascetics believe that the path to ultimate mastery lies in discipline, control, and absolute detachment from unnecessary distractions. They temper both body and mind, refining their undead forms into flawless instruments of will.

They do not rely on weapons or armor; their strikes are honed to precision, their movements an exercise in efficiency. To an Ascetic, battle is not chaos — it is a sequence of predictable events, a mathematical certainty that they can bend to their advantage. Their half-metal, half-undead bodies allow them to endure beyond the limits of the living, ignoring pain, fatigue, and hesitation.

Most Ascetics train in secluded monastic schools, isolated within the silent halls of forgotten temples or deep within the halls of MANATAZEM, where they meditate upon the nature of their existence.
