The Zwerge, also called zwergs, duergars, or highlanders, dwell in the icy peaks and caverns of Sarnout’s mountains. They are by far the most aggressive and isolationist of the Littlefolk, hostile to outsiders. Attempts by the Ghibberlings to establish trade with them have ended in bloodshed. The Zwerge of Coldberg allod constantly raid the mines of the Free Merchants, and their belligerence is seen across the world, from the Elemental Realm to Ochtlan-Tepec and the Old Excavation. Wherever the Zwerge are found, conflict follows.
