The price of resurrection depends on the creature's Spark Potency (character level) and requires a myrrh vessel on the dead creature’s body. The cost is measured in total myrrh vessel value, which depends on the amount of myrrh remaining in the vessel.
For example:
A full vial of myrrh (8 ounces) is worth 12 gp (enough for a level 3-5 resurrection).
If the vial contains only 5 ounces, its value is: 5812=7.5 gp where 8 is the vial's full capacity, 5 is the remaining ounces, and 12 gp is the full vial's price.
Overpayment:
If the total myrrh on your body exceeds the resurrection cost, the Servant of the Light is obliged to hand over the change. If the resurrection is provided by the Servant of Tenses (accelerated resurrection) – they do not provide change. Example:
A level 7 character needs 42 gp worth of myrrh.
Their body carries:
Half-full Stof (16 oz, worth 70 gp full → 35 gp now)
Two full Jiggers (4 oz each, worth 4 gp each → 8 gp total)
Total: 43 gp (1 gp overpayment, which is forfeited).
