The first humans the elves encountered were the people of Džun.

To the elves, they were like distorted reflections in a crooked mirror — outwardly similar, yet lacking the refinement and grace they deemed essential. But the elves saw potential in them. Perhaps the Džun could be allies in their battle against Ugliness. And so, they instilled their ideals into the people of Džun, mentoring them and teaching them the wonders of magic.

The Džun were a proud, beautiful people with brick-red skin, who had long lived in vast territories of Sarnout. Peaceful by nature, they built great cities, their civilization powered by cunning magi-technical structures.

For a time, their alliance with the elves flourished.

Then, they encountered the Dragons.
