The elves were among the most magically gifted races of Sarnout. Even then, they held secrets that remain mysteries even to the Great Mages of today.

They found a way forward — they would not fight the Dragons, nor would they perish at their hands. Instead, they would become them.

In the year 1700 BGC, the elves built magical incubators, places where they would undergo a transformation, one that would reshape them into beings equal to the Dragons.

The process was to take 400 years.

By its end, the elves would no longer be as they once were. They would emerge changed, a race reborn — not imitators of beauty, but beauty itself.
