In the year 2000, the great civilization of the Džun was annihilated by the Curse. In the wake of their downfall, vast lands once controlled by the Džun became a battleground as both human and orcish tribes rushed to claim them. Around this time, an orc-hero, a warlord known as Skull of Steppes succeeded in uniting the scattered orc clans into a single, formidable Horde.
Two races clashed in a brutal war for the right to settle these lands. To stand against the overwhelming might of the Horde, the once-fragmented Aro tribes also banded together in the Chiefdom of Kania. The defining moment in the struggle between the fledgling Kania and the ruthless Horde came with the death of Skull. He was the pillar, the force that held the Horde together. His mysterious demise led to the Horde’s collapse — his warlords vied for power, the unity shattered, and Kania swiftly drove the orcs from the lands they had conquered.
The Horde and its mighty leader faded into legend, becoming a tale of ancient glory among the orcs — a time when the world lay at their feet.
