History of the Orcs

Orcs are divided into clans. Each clan is ruled either by the strongest warrior or by a powerful shaman, whose might comes from commanding the magic of spirits and nature.

The highest governing structure among orcs is the Gathering of Clans, where chieftains from various clans meet to discuss shared concerns. These gatherings are most common among neighboring clans, such as those living on the same allod. More often than not, they end in mass brawls, and the victor’s decision becomes everyone’s decision.

The orcs technically have a ruler — the High Shaman, a descendant of Rodogor who resides in the Imperial capital on the allod of Igsh. The current High Shaman is Kolovrat of Northern. However, his authority is largely symbolic. His influence among orcs is weak, and in the more distant allods, it is nonexistent.

What most orcs truly long for is a Great Warlord — someone on the level of Skull or Rodogor, a leader powerful enough to truly unite the most fiercely independent beings in the world.
