The Seizure of Grokh and the League's Formation
707 AGC — The combined forces of the Hadagan Empire and the Orcs, led by Rodogor, march upon Grokh, the elven allod where he had been cast out years prior. The elven ruling house of di Vevre is powerless against the assault. Claude di Vevre is slain, his house dishonored.
The di Vevre family, one of the Eight Great Houses, calls for an extraordinary Bal, where the elves forge an alliance with Kania in response to Hadagan's aggression.
725 AGC — The Elves and Kanians launch a counteroffensive against Hadagan at the Battle of Allod Ketch.
The Arisen
741 AGC — On the allod of Igsh, an ancient burial ground, long used for necromantic experiments, becomes the site of an unprecedented phenomenon. Strange undead emerge—not mindless corpses, but intelligent beings. They call themselves the Arisen.
Hadagan's guards destroy the first of these undead, but one of their necromancers notes that the Arisen are far more intelligent than common undead. A report is sent to the Nezeb Committee.
Similar resurrections occur on various allods, including Kanian-controlled lands. But while Kania ruthlessly exterminates these revenants, Hadagan's necromancers seize the opportunity—they recognize the Arisen as remnants of the ancient Hikut civilization, which had perished 1,500 years before the Grand Cataclysm.
At first, the Arisen are small in number, fragmented, and reduced to little more than slaves, forced into labor in the Imperial mines.
The Rise of Nefer Ur and the Revolt of the Arisen
805 AGC — In the Suslanger copper mines, the first Arisen rebellion breaks out. The uprising is swiftly crushed.
821 AGC — Nefer Ur, a powerful necromancer and master mechanic of the ancient Hikut Empire, is resurrected. He had perished fighting Tep centuries ago, but now, he finds himself in a new world.
Unlike the others, Nefer Ur remembers the cause of his people's downfall. Assessing the state of the world, he devises a plan.
He incites a second rebellion—one that spreads across Hadagan. The Imperial army is deployed to suppress it but is defeated. Nezeb himself is forced to take personal command of the crisis.
The Expansion of the League
765 AGC — The first Ghibberling astral ships make landfall on the elven allod of House Grander. Thirty years later, the Ghibberlings officially join the alliance of Kanians and Elves. This marks the formation of the League and the beginning of their mastery over inter-astral travel.
823 AGC — House Arder spearheads the development of the first astral passenger ship capable of withstanding the dangers of the Astral. This prototype paves the way for the League’s first astral fleet.
The Recognition of the Arisen and the War for Kyrah
825 AGC — Nefer Ur and Nezeb meet. Armed with his knowledge of the Arisen’s true numbers and the future potential of his people, Nefer Ur demands citizenship for the Arisen.
Nezeb refuses, though he does issue a decree banning their enslavement—a small but vital victory for Nefer Ur.
901 AGC — House Douceur rises to power and initiates an attack on Allod Kyrah—a critical source of meteoric iron. The formal justification is to "liberate the oppressed goblins" of Kyrah, but the true aim is control over its rich mineral deposits.
Preparations are carried out in total secrecy.
907 AGC — The Arisen are granted full citizenship in the Hadagan Empire. Allod Khadagan, once the heart of the Hikut Empire, is given to the Arisen. Nefer Ur ascends as a Great Mage and becomes its ruler.
The War of Astral Portals
909 AGC — The League fleet lands on Kyrah, beginning a war that will determine control over inter-astral trade.
910 AGC — The Night of Astral Portals occurs, an event that forever alters the balance of power, shaping the fate of the world.
