One of Sarnout’s oldest races, the lizardfolk are found across many allods. Their history is closely intertwined with the dragons who once ruled the skies.

For reasons unknown, the dragons favored the lizardfolk, bestowing upon them great knowledge and power. Even after their draconic patrons were nearly wiped out, the lizardfolk continued to revere them.

While highly intelligent, lizardfolk are often xenophobic. They are skilled in both magic and combat and fiercely territorial. However, under the right circumstances, they can be reasoned with, and temporary alliances between lizardfolk tribes and the League or Empire are not unheard of. They are egg-laying and cold-blooded creatures.
