The first wave of emigration landed on an allod belonging to the Elves and made contact with them. Thus, another people of Sarnout learned of the possibility of traveling through the Astral using special constructs—although the Ghibberlings kept the method itself secret.

The second wave of Ghibberlings landed on the Orcish allod of Izun. The Orcs mistook the Ghibberlings for yet another variety of goblin and tried to enslave them. Many Ghibberlings perished; the remaining migrants fled Izun and made landfall on Ýnngos—the main Kanian allod.

The Kanians were not exactly welcoming either. But everything changed when the Elves informed the humans that the Ghibberlings held the secret to Astral travel. By order of the Governor of Ýnngos, an attempt was made to extract the secret. Realizing that their future in this new world depended on protecting that secret, the Ghibberlings fled Ýnngos. The secret of the meteorite remained hidden from both humans and Elves, but the latter stepped in to mediate the conflict. They succeeded.

Kania accepted the Ghibberlings into the League, granting them the allod of Ýnngos. The price for this was the secret of Astral travel.
