History of The Arisen
/

The Abolition of Slavery
In the year 825, two leaders met for negotiations.
Nefer Ur came armed with knowledge — and a single sheet of paper containing his calculations:
How many Zem had died in the past.
How many could still be resurrected.
How many could potentially fight under the Empire’s banner.
However, Nezeb was reluctant to recognize the Arisen as full-fledged Imperial citizens, as Nefer Ur demanded.
In the end, the only concession Nefer Ur won was a decree banning the enslavement of the Zem people. It was a small victory, but a victory nonetheless. Nefer Ur pressed on with the next phase of his plan.
