The allod of Pekéch is an industrial Imperial allod, composed of two monotowns: North Town (Steelworks) and East Town (Alchemical Combine).

The allod remains coherent solely due to its rich meteorite iron deposits. As Pekéch is not maintained by a Great Mage, it lacks a regulated environmental cycle. There is no change of season, nor variation between day and night. The climate remains perpetually chilly, resembling a continuous state of late autumn. Illusory projections of the sky and sun are absent, and the denizens enjoy a constant, monotonous view of the first layer of the Astral expanse. The day cycles are demarcated by the activation and dimming of municipal lighting.

North Town is built around Pekéch Steelworks and mainly produces astral shell casings for seige weapons and astral cannons.

Urban infrastructure:

  • Pekéch Steelworks: The central industrial complex and primary employer, comprising smelters, mills, assembly lines, and transport infrastructure.

  • St. Pigeons orphanage: A religious-charitable institution administered by the Triune Church, providing shelter and basic education for orphans, particularly children of deceased or incapacitated industrial workers.

  • The Crucible: an unlicensed speak-easy operating on the lower floor of School #2, which was burned and abandoned, and later rebuilt for the bar purposes. It functions as a gathering space for Pekéch’s and nearby allods’ underworld. On certain nights, it hosts illegal golem fights.

  • Boiler Square: The main public space used for official announcements, labor postings, parades, and municipal ceremonies.

  • Residential zone: Multi-block housing districts for workers and their families, organized by proximity to the steelworks and key services.

  • Two general education schools (#1 and #3) and one kindergarten

  • Municipal library

  • Open-air bazaar

  • Sports Facility: Recreational infrastructure with a big pool.

  • Sanitary and Epidemiological Station

  • Municipal hospital

  • Park of Culture and Recreation
