As you're planning your escape to the underground golem arena, you already know the routine. These are facts known to every long-time orphan.
MAP MARKERS

LAYOUT
Curfew begins at 9 PM. At this time, the caregivers on duty turn off almost all the lights.
The second-floor caregiver sits at a table (marked '1' on the map) with a lit candle. Depending on who is on duty, this caregiver periodically leaves their post to check the dormitories, ensuring everyone is in place and asleep. Children can be punished for being caught awake.
The lights near the door marked '2', which leads to the directors' chamber, are always on. The directors' chamber also has two small windows. The Directors go to sleep at approximately 10 PM.
The dormitory doors (marked '3') are always left open. Children who are afraid of the dark sleep in the beds nearest the doors.
All windows on both floors are barred from the outside.
At curfew, the first-floor caregiver places a chair at the post marked '5', near the stairs. This caregiver does not patrol and remains at their post. This is the only working light on the first floor after curfew.
The main exit doors are locked.
ORPHANAGE INFO
Creaking Floors: The building is old, and floorboards creak treacherously throughout the house. No matter how hard the children try to map the squeaky spots, they seem to change mysteriously.
Locks: Most of the locks are old and easy to pick. The exit locks are challenging, and the locks on the directors' chamber are even more difficult.
Squeaking Doors: Some doors squeak loudly if not opened or closed very slowly.
Acoustics: The building's acoustics work against you; sounds carry very clearly.
DUTY SCHEDULE AND CAREGIVERS INFO
The duty schedule is located in the duty roster, which is kept in a locked commode within the directors' chamber. Some children may know this information, but will only trade it for something of value. Even so, their data may turn out to be incorrect.
Director Rodion Morozin
Sleep habits: Sleeps soundly and snorts loudly. Loudly enough to be heard from the hallway outside the directors' chamber, which could help muffle other sounds. He is not easily awakened.
Duty habits: He is sharp and attentive on duty. He visits the latrine only once per night, always at 1:00 AM, for 2 to 5 minutes.
1st floor duty details: Sits perfectly still at the post.
2nd floor duty details: He patrols exactly every hour and has a set route: upper east dormitory, lower east dormitory, lower west dormitory, then upper west dormitory. He spends 2 minutes in each, shining his lantern on the beds. He does not check the beds too closely.
Attitude: He persecutes sleepless kids ruthlessly.
***Directress Klavdia Morozina
Sleep habits: She is a random sleepwalker. When sleepwalking, she has an agape expression and open, rolled-back eyes.
Duty habits: She is dangerously unpredictable and wants to catch children. Her patrols are erratic and based on hunches. She is known to fake-walk away, only to stand silently in the shadows of the hall.
1st floor duty details: She hates sitting still and thus never takes the 1st-floor duty.
2nd floor duty details: She may patrol three times in one hour and then not again for two. She favors the girls' dormitories, visiting them more often and staying longer. She checks every bed meticulously. Because she hates to stay still, she is less perceptive when seated at her post than when actively patrolling.
Attitude: She persecutes sleepless kids violently.
***Jaw of Irons
Sleep habits: He has a very weak bladder but sleeps very soundly. His loud, rattling snore can be clearly heard from the ground-floor hallway. He uses the latrine randomly, from one to three times a night, even when off-duty.
Duty habits: He has a very weak bladder and uses the latrine at least four times per duty. He also dozes off constantly.
1st floor duty details: He is the most lenient guard and often dozes off in the chair. His weak bladder forces him to make frequent visits to the latrine.
2nd floor duty details: If Jaw manages to stay awake, he performs a couple of random, slow patrols. He is easily heard and does not check beds very carefully.
Attitude: He is not strict. If he catches a child for the first time, he will not report them unless they are openly defiant. He will report them if he catches the same child twice.
***Pavel Glagolev
Sleep habits: He is a very light and anxious sleeper. He often reads by low candlelight and will wake at the slightest noise from the hallway.
Duty habits: He is nervous and jumpy, and afraid of the Directors. He reads history books at his post, but every creak in the old building makes him flinch and look up. He's more afraid of being caught failing his duty than he is of the children.
1st floor duty details: He reads on duty and goes to the latrine at least twice per duty.
2nd floor duty details: He patrols every 45 minutes but does so nervously and quickly. He'll shine his lantern into the dorm from the doorway, whisper, "Everyone asleep? Good, good," and then hurry to the next one. He avoids lingering and is easy to hide from.
Attitude: He is reluctant to punish. If he finds a child, he will plead with them to return to bed.
***Sarang Lemba
Sleep habits: She seems to awaken instantly, going from sleep to full alertness without any lingering grogginess. She has a night-eating habit and visits the kitchen at least once per night, spending about 30 minutes or more preparing and eating food.
Duty habits: Lemba is the most difficult and vigilant monitor. She possesses keen senses and uncanny concentration. During her shift, she does not get distracted or use the latrine. She has one significant weakness: she finds it hard to resist a night snack. At least once per duty, she visits the kitchen and spends about 30 minutes there.
1st floor duty details: She sits at her post like a statue, watching the stairs. She does not got to latrine.
2nd floor duty details: Her patrols are perfectly regular: once every 30 minutes, following a route from upper west -> lower west -> lower east > to upper east. She makes no attempt to be silent. She checks every bed meticulously.
Attitude: If she catches a child, she first locks them in the laundry room (ground-floor) before reporting to the Directors.
