Artillery Lore provides practical knowledge of all artillery systems, including astral ship batteries, land-based siege engines, and artillery mounted on combat beasts or vehicles. This specialized lore can also be used instead of most checks made to operate and maintain Imperial artillery.

Astral Lore covers all aspects of the Astral, including its mysterious depths, shifting anomalies, and all kinds of documented demons that lurk within.

Astrology Lore encompasses knowledge of various Astral isles — both well-documented and obscure — that exist beyond the reach of the League and the Empire. It also details their unique inhabitants and peculiar phenomena. (It’s not quite Geography — for obvious reasons.)

Astral Ship Lore provides an understanding of how to operate, maintain, and navigate Astral vessels, essential for any seasoned captain or crew member.

Combat Vehicles Lore provides practical knowledge for piloting and operating combat vehicles. This specialized lore can also be used instead of most checks made to operate and maintain Imperial combat vehicles.

Engineering Lore offers practical knowledge in construction, mechanics, and maintenance of mundane infrastructure, mana-tech, and all forms of mechanoids. This lore helps you understand how these complex systems operate, how to repair them, and how they can fail.

Džun Lore covers the history, culture, and lost technologies of the ancient Džun people, who dominated the pre-Cataclysmic world of Sarnout. Not only it includes an in-depth knowledge about their society, culture, architecture, religion and language, but also their unique, complex magi-technical structures.

Pirate Lore provides insight into the ways of Astral freebooters, their hidden ports, unspoken codes, and the slang they use. Mastering this lore will help you communicate with piratesm understand their motives and ways, and navigate their world efficiently.

Underworld Lore grants knowledge of the hidden networks of smugglers, black markets, crime syndicates, and "thieves in law." It includes an understanding of prison code - the unspoken rules that govern the underworld, and criminal hierarchy, which is also essential to blend in. Those versed in this lore can decipher prison tattoos, navigate the dangers of organized crime, and interpret cryptic messages exchanged in criminal circles.

Warfare Lore becomes particularly valuable in the later stages of the campaign, as you will be actively engaged in war. It’s also beneficial for an early segment of the game, when you start your training in the Igsh Military District.

Goblinball Lore is used for Goblinball matches, whether you're participating in a match, cheering for your team, or otherwise immersing yourself in this sport. It is especially useful, if you are not going to invest much in Athletics or Acrobatics, but still want to play as an Intelligence-based character.

Necromancy Lore covers the principles of necromancy, an ancient, ubiquitous, and respected magical art in Sarnout. This lore provides insight into its diverse applications, from healing and forensic investigation to the animation of domestic undead laborers (skeleton janitors, yes.) Those versed in this lore comprehend the complex theories governing life and death, understand its practical rituals, and are familiar with the art's significant history, including the dark legacy of the great necromancer Tep, which still lingers in the world, and will be encountered frequently in your adventures around the world.
