The Power of Three

"It wasn't me, m'lord! I swear it, I swear it! Three times I swear it!"

The Concordians believe in the Power of Three. This might be a remnant of the Fey who once walked the Lands, or it might simply be superstition. Whatever it is, the phrase stuck. And so whenever they want to lay emphasis on a situation, they might swear on something three times. They might cuss you out thrice. On weddings, vows often include three promises of protection and love. Even many business deals require you to sign and swear three times in order to be valid.
