Vampires

Nothing scares the people of the Covenant Grounds quite like Vampires do. Where the Nightmare King is mostly a myth, and restless spirits are swiftly dealt with by the Factions, Vampires are a real threat that walk the streets at night.

Their charismatic charm, physical prowess and near-immortality made them true enemies of the Holy Orders, and the Covenant Grounds as a whole, having nearly entirely wiped out Port Valmorra just a few hundred years ago.

Because of this, Dhampirs (those taking after their vampiric ancesters) are often shunted and exiled, once discovered, to the very outskirts of the swamps.
