For returning Bob and Lisa safely:

• 1 bag of gold per party member (5 bags total)

For recovering and delivering the red stone idol:

• 1 chest of gold (10 bags total) to the group

Each party member also receives:

• An Aegis Archive Token, marking them as individuals who have provided meaningful service to the Archive. This serves as recognition and may grant easier access or credibility with Archive-affiliated contacts.

• An Aegis Archive liaison in Dawnspire will contact Brezug the alchemist to assist with analysis of the black goo sample.

• In addition, the Archive provides a detection gem that is enchanted to glow when within Far range of black goo.

  • Since the party is currently carrying a sample, the gem is already glowing.

While Shepherd is not immediately accepted as a member of the Aegis Archive, the following opportunities are offered:

• Lisa will act as a liaison for Shepherd’s future library or research inquiries.

• The Archive will exchange 1 True Air crystal for an Orichalcum container capable of safely holding up to 10 True Elements.

• If Shepherd gathers and donates all five known True Elements (four of which remain), the Archive will formally consider him for membership.

Instead of taking gold, party members may select from the following options.

• Major Bolster Potion (Strength) — Gain +1 Strength until next rest (1 available)

• Major Enlighten Potion (Knowledge) — Gain +1 Knowledge until next rest (1 available)

• Vial of Darksmoke — When attacked, spend to roll [Agility] d6 and add the highest result to your Evasion for that attack (2 available)

Recipes (1 bag of gold each)

• Recipe: Vial of Darksmoke — Craft 1 vial as a downtime action by marking 1 Stress

• Recipe: Minor Health Potion — Craft 1 potion as a downtime action (requires 1 vial of blood per potion)

Magic Items (2 bags of gold each)

• Gecko Gloves — Climb vertical surfaces and ceilings

• Homing Compasses (paired) — Each compass always points toward the other

The Archive has no direct research need for the recovered creature parts, but offers the following if you want to offload them here:

• Wyvern hide — 1 bag of gold

• Flickerfly wings — 1 bag of gold

• Wyvern talons — A handful of gold

The Archive advises that these materials may be more valuable if used for crafted equipment in Dawnspire or elsewhere rather than sold outright. (See Equipment Upgrades tab.)
