Crafting/Purchase of Tier 2 Weapons & Armor

You'll need to see a crafter, but for planning purposes here's what you can expect:

Standard Tier 2 Weapons and Armor (e.g., "Improved X")

Generally available in Dawnspire or other significant crafting hubs.

Typical cost is 1-2 bags of gold per item, assuming you are trading in or upgrading the old item.

Special/Named Tier 2 Weapons and Armor

Limited selection per vendor/location

Typically 2-3 bags of gold at Tier 2

Examples:

Wyvern / Flickerfly items (via provided materials)

Wyvern Scale Armor
(enough hide for 2 or 3 sets)

1.5 bags of gold per set of armor, using the provided wyvern hide.

Wyvern Talons (2)

Improved Spear, Small Dagger, or Grappler for 1 bag of gold and 1 talon

Parrying Dagger or a set of Knuckle Blades for 2 bags of gold and 2 talons

Flickerfly Wings

For 1 bag of gold, can be used to craft a Tier 2 Dagger (x2), Small Dagger (x2), Shortsword, Longsword, or Cutlass.
Base damage is 2 lower, but you can add your weapon trait (FIN/AGI/PRE) to the damage roll.

The Coast Road from Tatterbark Grove to Headland Hold

SUMMARY

Traveling south toward Headland Hold with the red stone idol, the party is forced through the dangerous choke point of Tatterbark Grove, where encroaching forest and corrupted growth make even basic travel hazardous. When a missing child is taken by the grove itself, the party intervenes, containing the idol’s influence while fighting back aggressive plant creatures and rescuing the girl from a carnivorous tree.

Reaching Headland Hold, the party delivers the idol to the Aegis Archive and reports their activities near Ravenfall, as well as their encounters with the black goo across multiple locations. While the Archive claims no prior knowledge of the strange goo, inconsistencies and admitted oversights raise concerns. With the idol secured and new questions emerging, the party adopts the name Dawnspire Oddfellows and prepares to return toward Dawnspire.
