Your backstory matters. It does not need to be long or flowery. A few bullet points about where you come from, who and what you care about, and what you desire or fear are invaluable for you and for me as GM.
The questions below are intended as idea fuel. If they're helpful, weave the answers into you backstory. If you want to ignore them in favor of your own ideas, go for it!

What habits, taboos, or tools from your origin shape how you practice your class?

Who was the first wild animal you bonded with? Why did your bond end?

How did this mixed ancestry arise?
Does it carry a particular reputation?

What rule of Shepherds Table kept people alive, and who still resents you for enforcing it?
Which craft or chore you learned as a kid still lives in your hands, and how does it show up in play?
What old story told by a grandparent shaped your sense of right and wrong?
