Dawnspire
Dawnspire
“First to open on the eastern sea; mind your nets and your manners.” - harbor warden
Locals say Dawnspire was the first eastern port to open after the Return, and they carry that pride in how they keep the place. Streets are swept, the watch makes its rounds, and the harbor stays busy from first light. It is the biggest settlement on this coast and the one most travelers call civilized. Fields are few, so the nets do most of the feeding. Smokehouses run long hours, and the water smells of salt and cedar. The spire’s beacon is the city’s namesake and its promise: a steady light for ships coming home.
