A faction within the Church of the High Faith. They care less about action than knowledge. They maintain monastery libraries, collect texts and artifacts, study Chaos to understand rather than just oppose blindly. They are keepers of learning, copiers of texts, inquirers of uncomfortable questions. The great monasteries are Archivist strongholds. They are sometimes criticized for studying rather than acting, occasionally for studying Chaos too closely and being changed by what they learned.
