Rooftop
Environmental Feature
Flat roofs
Count as normal ground (easy to move across).
In snowy or debris‑heavy climates, a GM can treat overloaded flats as uneven ground or even collapsing hazards.
Angled roofs
Generally treated as uneven ground.
If especially steep, treat the surface as an incline, often requiring checks (Acrobatics/Balance) to move safely and making forced movement more dangerous.
The peak/ridge of an angled roof is a narrow surface, good for Balance, Shove, and trip dynamics.
Moving between roofs
Mechanically, rooftops are ready‑made terrain for chases, ambushes, sniper nests, and vertical puzzles, using existing jump, Balance, and terrain rules.
