Prerequisites Any minimum attributes, feats, proficiency ranks, and so forth you must have to select this rules element are here. Feats also have a level prerequisite, listed above.
Duration 10 Minutes
Requirements Trained in Crafting or Survival. Access to basic tools appropriate to what you’re salvaging (mechanic’s tools, field knife, sample kit, etc.).
You methodically strip usable components from fallen creatures, constructs, damaged equipment, or disabled hazards, treating the battlefield or ruin as a resource instead of abandoned debris. You Spend 10 minutes extracting the usable components from the targets.
Make a Crafting or Survival check
DC: Use a Level-based DC for the encounter’s level (or highest-level target), adjusted for timing: –2 if salvaging immediately after the encounter, +2 if returning later the same day, and +10 if salvaging a long-cold site.
Critical Failure- You pick over the remains but can’t extract anything usable. Nothing is recovered
Failure- You recover some intact bits. the party is able to salvage components worth 25% of the treasure per encounter for the encounter
Success- You recover the most accessible and intact bits, the party is able to salvage components worth 50% of the treasure per encounter for the encounter
Critical Success- You expertly strip parts, power, and materials. the party is able to salvage components worth the full value of the treasure per encounter for the encounter
After the check is resolved, the site is considered fully picked over; it can’t be salvaged again.
