ALKR units are a generation 2 unit and act as the backbone of the Eusan Nation People's Army. They are mass produced, low cost infantry units mostly typically found on the frontlines or combat zones during wartime. They are a retrofitted branch of the ARAR unit, which employs a combat-capable persona in the same frame. While most of these units are manufactured directly, some preexisting ARAR units are retrofitted- their personas altered while their memory remains untouched, and their frames are lightly reinforced to match that of a factory ALKR unit.

ALKR units typically keep to their squadmates. These units know their way around a firearm, and display satisfactory shooting at a firing range, often attempting to rival STAR units in competitions. ALKR units frequently train themselves physically. It is not uncommon for these units to spar with one another as well.

It is noted that these units run in packs, or "squads"- the sisters often staying together and isolated from civilian staff due to their persona, and feeling as if they couldn't fit in with them. There may be rare instances where factory ALKRs may butt heads with retrofitted Auks, to which these disputes are often settled with managed "Fist to cuffs". Depending on how the sparring match goes, the units will either resent one another more, or learn to accept each other. This also plays a large role when electing a platoon officer amongst their ranks, which they often call "Offizier".

Behavior

While these units display a very "rough around the edges" attitude, within their own cadre they display friendlier emotions, though are rarely vulnerable, usually making jokes about their traumatic experiences. Auk units will more often than not bottle up their emotions until they emotionally explode.

ALKR units are often given many books and scrap pages to doodle and sketch on, typically given pencils, pens, and crayons. This technique is usually to occupy their minds when experiencing traumatic episodes. Should signs of PTSD become more common, they are advised to seek attention from a TUBR unit, being encouraged to also use the gym from time to time.
