Work in progress.

The rebellion that led to the downfall of the Arandorian Empire and the fragmentation of the realm into numerous small fiefdoms was supported by many of the major noble lords of the time. While the full list of participants is unknown, some of the most significant figures involved in the rebellion include:

1. Lady Maeve of House Lyra from Province Elsior

Lady Maeve, a powerful and skilled arcanist, vehemently opposed the restrictive rules on magic within the realm. She believed that the banned practices were essential knowledge for every capable magician and that the limitations stifled progress in the arcane arts. Under Prince Embrys' banner, she saw an opportunity to reshape the empire's policies on magic and create a more open and progressive environment for the arcane community.

Lady Maeve's contribution to the uprising included training and leading a specialized group of arcanists who used their abilities to devastate the loyalist forces on the battlefield. She also developed new spells and magical strategies, giving the rebels a significant edge in combat.

2. Lord Locahn of House Aedric from Province Dornia

Lord Locahn, a renowned warrior and commander, harbored a deep-seated grudge against King Orin after a close friend of his was falsely accused and executed under the king's orders. This personal vendetta fueled his desire for vengeance and made him a passionate supporter of the uprising.

As a commander, Lord Locahn led a group of elite soldiers, known for their courage and tactical prowess. His battlefield strategies and leadership enabled the rebel forces to achieve several key victories against the loyalists, undermining their morale and weakening their resolve.

3. Lord Myron of House Caelum from Province Aranthas

Lord Myron, a cunning politician and member of a once-prominent noble family, sought to restore his family's former glory by joining the rebellion. He believed that overthrowing the Arandor Dynasty would provide an opportunity for his family to reclaim their lost status and influence within the empire.

Utilizing his extensive political connections and influence in the court of Aranthas, Lord Myron swayed other nobles to join the uprising. He also played a crucial role in spreading propaganda against King Orin, painting him as an unfit and tyrannical ruler, which helped garner support for the rebellion among the populace.

4. Lady Calantha of House Valtor from Province Caldor

Lady Calantha, a shrewd businesswoman who controlled a significant portion of the empire's trade, saw the uprising as an opportunity to expand her wealth and influence. She believed that by supporting the rebellion, she could secure more favorable trade policies and gain access to new markets.

To aid the rebels, Lady Calantha leveraged her extensive network of contacts and wealth to secure supplies, equipment, and mercenaries. Her support ensured that the rebel forces were well-provisioned and bolstered their ranks with skilled fighters.

5. Lord Domaen of House Torin from Province Kaelnor

Lord Domaen, an honorable and wealthy nobleman, was deeply disturbed by the tragic events surrounding King Orin's son and Queen Elara. He believed that the king had become unfit to rule and that the empire needed a just and fair leader to restore its former glory.

Despite his reservations about some of the more ambitious and morally ambiguous members of the rebellion, Lord Domaen joined the uprising in the hope of implementing better governance. He used his vast resources to fund the rebellion and provide support to Prince Embrys. As a close friend and ally of Lord Locahn, he also shared his belief in a more just and fair rule, strengthening their commitment to the cause.
