Biography:

Sir Gareyth of Glenhold, First Knight of the Grand Expedition, First Thane of Dunholme and Knight of the Realm in Osterra. Gareyth left his native Blackstone in Avalon long ago in pursuit of his quarry, the blackguard and deceiver know as Karza. That path has led across many lands, including to the Dragonlands and Mythodea with the Grand Expedition, across Faerun, Olaran and now finally to Osterra. Through action and example, Gareyth has sought to protect, heal and guide others wherever this quest has taken him. He serves the "Lords of Light," a broad pantheon encompassing all deities of good, life, light and justice - including Tyr, Perun, Balder, Quetzalcoatl, Athena, Ma'at, Hausos, Forseti, Horus, Iomedae, Heironeous, Lady Selda the Silver, and countless others. Years of devout dedication to this path have apparently granted him certain abilities. Through his journeys, Gareyth learned that urging others to unite behind common cause brought strength and hope to even the darkest places - founding chapters of the "Shield" to rally from various factions those willing to act for the common good and together when needed to aid others. When not at Haven, Gareyth can be encountered across Osterra in search of adventure - confronting evil in ancient ruins, offering counsel in faction halls, enjoying a pipe and an ale at a roadside tavern, and offering blade or prayer of comfort to those in need across the Realm.
