Goblins

The final known cousin of the Orc is The Goblin. Goblins are extraordinarily short in stature, just under the hip of the common Osterran. They are more clever than smart in most cases, but their intelligence can vary to an extreme degree. Many still work to create and man siege engines, and to build walls around their encampments. They will most often align themselves with larger creatures, be it Trolls, Orcs, or Humans, in order to have some form of protection around them. They are typically slender and weak, wearing very little armor, if any at all. A single swing of a common sword will take Goblins down, so they are not a threat on the battlefield. Yet still, they are clever. In some instances, goblins have been seen to feign their deaths on the battlefield, then reach out and slice off an adventurer's legs. This means if you have a Goblin backed into a corner after working through his companions, be sure that there is not another getting up behind you.
