Lich are immortal, powerful beings that have sold their soul for a supernatural control over magic. Lich are typically incredibly intelligent, selfish, and evil beings. Even before their final transformation, they gave up everything in the pursuit of power. Power of that level is only granted to mortal beings through incredibly evil and nefarious means. All their previous worldly positions, down to their skin and humanity, were stripped away in the pursuit for a knowledge no ordinary mortal can possess. After their transformation they become more bitter than ever, going out of their way to pursue and strike down the good in the world, the people who have what they never can. Lich can only be destroyed when a specific set of circumstances are met. Malakor The Lich, one of the known Lich of this realm, lives in an ethereal state where he can do no harm nor be harmed by others. However, with certain items in his possession, he can regain his physical form.
