Dragons are extremely territorial creatures who have often lived in the same space for centuries. They stay in their lairs typically in fear of being hunted for their scales, horns, or hide. If their lair is found, they will usually migrate to other caves, mountain peaks, thick forests, or abandoned swamps. During this migration period Dragons are very aggressive. The Dragons those of this realm have encountered during their searches of land were most likely ones that had recently lost their lair and were now out in search of a new one. These creatures are an extreme threat, and can throw spells from their mouth while swiping at nearby adventurers with their long talons or their spiked tails. Attacking the core of the Dragon is often pointless, and swipes to the arms, legs, and tail are the only effective measures of defeating a dragon. At adulthood, Dragons can take from 10-15 hits just to destroy a single extremity.
