Illithids, or Mind-flayers, are strange creatures from the underdark of Osterra. Their tentacle covered, squid like faces, and slender, and long mage robes are the most typical variants of these creatures. In other worlds, they are well known for their mastery of illusion magic and their ability to create and travel through portals. Illithids typically leech of the minds of those they deem weaker than them, and that covers all except one, The Master Brain. Although Illithids are known for controlling tens to hundreds of slaves each, they themselves are slaves to what they believe to be the most intellectual creature to ever live and receive their orders telepathically. Illithids are not difficult to take down if you manage to get within their striking distance, 6 to 7 hits will get through their soft skin. However, they are incredibly capable spellslingers and masters of disguise.
