The Master Brain is a creature that has most likely been disconnected from its host body. The host is unknown, but the being was certainly large, smart, and vile in every way. The Master Brain now sits within a basin with an enchanted goo like substance that not even our greatest magi have been able to determine the properties of. The remains of the creature telepathically communicate with the Illithids who are slaves to the being, following its every whim and desire. It is believed to be extremely dangerous, and the current location of The Master Brain is unknown. Even when believed to be destroyed, the brain has a habit of infiltrating the nearest mind, living or dead, and taking over from that corpse, able to control the body, place itself in a safe location, and begin growing to the massive size that it was prior to its demise. When vulnerable, the brain is easy to defeat, only 2 to 3 strikes, but in death this creature can still claw its way back to life.
