Aoibhin Elorrenthi

Aoibhin Elorrenthi

"I’ll tolerate steel being drawn so long as no blood is spilt."

Biography

Aoibhin (ae-vuh) Elorrenthi was born in Metrol and lived through Eberron’s Last War. She grew up in the Demense of Shadow, surrounded by music and her House’s library. After the Mourning and the destruction of Cyre she took to adventuring for a time, eventually returning to the House and her position as heir.  Eventually she became the Master of the Performers Guild while continuing to wander in search of the secrets of Song, going so far as to spend quite a bit of time in the Fae Courts. Her childhood left her with a distaste for war and magical cataclysms.

Centuries weigh differently on the elven-kin than on humans, yet sorrow weighs on them more still.

Age: 1000+

Birthday: Vermintide

Race: Elf

Faction: The House of Silver Branches

Path: Bard / Mage

Homeworld: Eberron

Residence: Ceoch Abhainn, Vetus Mundi

Sorrow and loneliness led her to wandering the stacks of a mystical library, winding through time, space, and story, until she stumbled through an unseen portal into an autumn grove where leaves clothed the trees in colors not quite like any she’d seen— and where the teeming chorus of magical influence fell all but silent.

Aoibhin is a cautious soul by nature and practice, and new alliances do not come easily to her. The folk of the Grove proved to be of a sufficiently even and diplomatic temper to convince her to bide with them for a time, and eventually she found kindred souls and new purpose enough to settle in Osterra for a time. With the favor of the Fae Courts, she and some friends anchored and restored a fading realm of mist and sea-strand: Ceoch Abhainn, the seat of the newly formed House of Silver Branches.

Personality

Aoibhin is generally reserved and guarded with new acquaintances. Once her loyalty is given, she will not turn her back on a friend.  She generally prefers to watch rather than take immediate action, and never acts without at least three plans.  Aoibhin believes in balance and neutrality and will rarely take a side.  If time allows she would like to continue exploring how magic and music interact in this new land, as well as continuing to teach at the Bardic College she co-founded with Maple.

Appearance

Aoibhin's most striking feature is her long silver hair, she is usually dressed in grey/silver and greens. She hasn’t quite given up on court fashions, though for practical reasons has come to favor linen to silk if she must fight.  Afterall, prestidigitation doesn't work here, and getting bloodstains out of silver silk is… difficult.
