Strike Force: Radiant Fist are a group of adventurers from the Ludos Adventuring Guild : Flower Rock division.
Adventures: Season 1
The adventuring party investigated missing butterflies from the School of Stars for Instructor Shatterspear. The critters are used to guard and pollinate the grounds that the magic academy + culinary institute uses to grow ingredients for potions and dishes. One of the caverns had been attacked by a carrion crawler and the group found evidence of Potion Master Thorne’s involvement. They discover that he has been possessed by an entity to brew potions and poisons. An exiled former student is out for revenge as the Shadow Chef and the psychic link is broken, for now.
The Radiant Fist learned about the guild alchemist, Kuron’s, research into the Ludos Rockflowers. They were asked to use leylines to enter into a demiplane where some “seeds” were being stored. This reality seems to be a mirror of our realm and town but periodically morphs to have influences of beasts, crystals, or the Feywild. At the center of a sudden hedge maze, fey and fairy dragons, Barry and Berry had been eating the mystical flowers and seeds. Through solving riddles presented, the group were able to gain the remaining components.
Arcanist Oblivivar had become the patron to the Radiant Fist, after learning of their experience with leyline irregularities in the area. They looked into the first of three towers that triangulated the Everwoe Fens. They stopped the K-BOLD team from demolishing the tumbling tower and reported the instability that led to oozes leaking out into our world.
The Radiant Fist faced off against hobgoblin thugs before saving the next tower from crumbling under the effects of time stasis magic waning. They instead were able to harness their own magic to perform a “bloom ritual” that led to the tower gradually rebuilding itself, hoping that restoring all three towers would grant a boon to all local spellcasters upon their success.
The group traveled towards the last tower, passed through a collection of twig and twine dolls and their flowers, and out of tunnels infested with troglodytes. Unfortunately, they found it in ruins in the middle of a sinkhole, protected by a ring of arrows and littered with flowers, traps of rope, and magical darkness. Oblivivar sent reinforcements in the form of fellow LAG members, Walter and Aullanara, and the group fought their way into the ruins, finding a makeshift alchemical lab being used by skeletal scientists.
After dismantling the skeletons, Radiant Fist, experimented with mixing the alchemical materials, found a summery elven maiden trapped in a salt circle surrounded by more skeletons and wisps. The group freed the prisoner, but the spirits of undead escaped.
